The Client & the project

A new brand from seasoned entrepreneurs that were looking to make their mark in the retail Micro perfume/travel size market. This new brand Mixperfume created by 2 entrepreneurs Based of Miami, USA was looking for world class service, personalized tailoring of scents, perfumes and colognes for their clients. Looking to expand in the US they asked for our help and expertise in the Ecommerce, Email and SEO world. The challenge was amazing for both parties from 0 Sales to 1000 and beyond all 1 month before Black Friday so we were off to a BANG!

The Challenge & Goal

Mixperfume, a brand new growing travel perfume & cologne fragrance reseller brand, starting 100% from scratch they were facing significant challenges in their ecommerce, SEO and CRM email marketing efforts, both in broadcast and automation.  We became their tech partner in these areas and help them boost their email list from 0 to 12k. Their objective was to launch the brand, grow each month and expand the brand into a suitable player in the space. There was room for one more brand in the space as it is a new way to purchase perfumes. We had the challenge to communicate the offering Travel sample sizes in 1ML, 2ML, 3ML, 5 ML and 8ML Sizes. They were adding thousands of products each month, they needed to create their marketing offer from 0. We were there to boost them above and beyond. 

They needed a proactive, dynamic, fast, executive and creative team. We were there to help them get to their first milestones and create the experience for true and loyal clients. 

How we did it

Audits & Proposals:

Refindable did an audit of their competitors signing up for their newsletters, looked for baseline references, self-refrenced past clients that used similar methods of promotion and brand building. We set a benchmark of 10 automations. Planned for an expansion of another 12 more over several months.

Documentation and visual tracking

We documented all of the current running promotions not only visually but also what their goals in various forms and files. We followed the documentation and changes of the emails over weeks and months

  • Store-specific automations (Purchased this product then get these emails).
  • Unique Triggers.
  • New Welcome flows to new audiences.

Results & benefits

This was an end-to-end email & sms broadcast & automation setup. While other companies need a full team focused on this we hade 2 specialists working and bringing a total of 10x value to the brand. We set up automations that have brought consistently a 5 to 10% of total revenue to the brand and worked on delivering several highlights and advances every single week. Once deliverd the 1st heavy setup, We worked at a pace of 2 new automations per 2/3 weeks and a ryhthm of 3 emails per week leading and creating the design, copy and Klaviyo setup 

A full step up in everything related to email marketing as a whole.  Thanks to the work, every part of the process of creating, making, and executing email send-outs has become faster and more detailed due to the development and standardization of design elements, and documentation of email flows. We worked on expanding the product line sales as there are over 2000 products but there are just 200 that account for 70% of the sales. The increase of AOV was our main goal and focus after the first 2 months set-up and over time we could manage to maintain a 10% increased growth in the channel for 6 consecutive months. Overall we produced and created a staggering amount of copy, emails and relevant content and emails that far surpassed what other competitors were creating.
